During Professor Chen's visit to Grundy Center he was able to watch classes at the PE4life Academy and had these comments:
 
"The Physical Education classes I observed today were the best I have ever seen between Eastern and Western Cultures in my 50 years of teaching.  The reasons for this are as follows.  First the environment, condition, and equipment in conjunction with technology are the best. Second, all students are engaged in activities.  Time management is wonderful: 80% of the time students are engaged in meaningful, purposeful, useful, and practical experiences.  Third, the students are learning through systematic and scientific knowledge, learning the truth and wisdom, not just the knowledge handed down from someone else: many people just beileve.  Students at Grundy Center are learning truth by using science and technology.   Fourth, students are learning through experience and games, that can be applied into their life  Education is life and life is education; here is the first place I have really seen it. Fifth, every student is successful.  There are successful students, elite students, and students who are left behind in many schools; in Grundy Center, no student was left behind: everyone had an equal opportunity and all did their part of equal importance.  Everyone was successful!"
 
"In Grundy Center they are not only teaching PE, but through technology are given the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle. We are the best teacher for ourselves.  Students must learn on their own because when they leave the school they still have 60 years of life ahead of them."
 
"Lifelong learning and healthy lifestyles are the most wonderful things you can give to your students.  I congratulate all of you in Grundy Center and we are delighted to witness and observe and would be delighted to pass on to anywhere we go: Asia, Oceania, and heaven."
